This review is from: American Pie - The Naked Mile (Unrated Widescreen Edition) (DVD) Hi Steve, The DVD arrived earlier than expected, in top condition. This was my first purchase of a DVD from overseas, and didn't realize the different "country regions", (I live in Australia),and couldn't play the movie. I have since been able to alter my player to "open region" channel, and the movie play's excellent. Thank you. Kenbo.

naked mile, not great but good for an evening...

Gents, the naked mile is not the movie you have to watch if you areexpecting something like American pie 1-3 or road trip, but it is guitea good movie to watch with your pals when you want to get a laugh at.No plot, not very good acting but enough scenes to make you laugh yourballs of, and... a lot of nice looking naked (topless) women. Justwatch it, don't expect Shakespeare, just a feel good movie. And thereturn of mr. Levinstein is enough to take you back to the feeling yougot of watching the American Pie-cycle. Just watch it en have a greattime. I had! Besides, it's a lot better than American Pie 4 whichreally sucked! I hope you have a lot of fun watching this movie. Ed

Good Movie Indeed

Best movie that i have ever seen. Nude, nude and more nude. There isnot a single part of the body which has been left uncovered in theentire movie. The way the story has been taken is completely different.Better when compared to all the previous AP series movies. This moviehas been shot in such a way that it is more than what was expected.Movie is Lively and its a sure shot enjoyment for the teens. One canfind lots of Fun, Sentiments, Joke and naked scenes in the movie. Girlswill enjoy to the same extent as that of boys. Not much importancegiven to the actress. Side roles play a major part in the movie thanthe main actors do. A GOOD MOVIE INDEED.

Surprisingly Entertaining

American Pie: Naked Mile is surprisingly a more entertainng made for video movie than the Band Camp one. It's more funny than the last one as well. Erik Stiffler "yes yet another Stiffler but this one is a cousin" who's the only virgin of the family. His g/f wants to wait to have sex and he was with her for 2 years so it's holding him back from having sex. She gives him a guilt free pass to have sex for a weekend when he goes on a trip to check out a college with friends. The result is a surprisingly good time and it's of course raunchy since it's an American Pie movie. I do admit that some of it's perverted jokes go on a little too long though. Still it's smarter and more watchable than the last made for video movie. Plus Steve Talley is better as one of Stiffler's brothers than the one from the Band Camp movie. I mean the one from Band Camp tried way too hard to be Sean William Scott. Talley just gives his own performance and is one of the funnier people in the movie. It's funny how he has a little feud "no pun intended" going on with midgets.

Just leave the American PIE trilogy alone, okay?

No screenplay, no direction, no acting, no sense of humor, nocharacters, no,no,no... NO! "Band Camp" may had some style but this onesucks. The only thing that reminds the good American Pie 1-3 is thefirst scene -although a little exaggerating, it was quite good. Thescreenplay... it didn't exist, no. Horrible. The actors? Do you knowthe adjective "talented"? No relationship. Especially that stupidcousin Stifler, who tries to act like an old Steve Stifler... For theGreek readers of this comment, I use the phrase "floro-magas". The mostboring part of the movie was the football game between the Stifler teamand the "little people". I put in action the fast-forward. No commentto the "erection games" at the end of the movie. If I tell you thatthis was the only good scene of the movie, you can easily understandwho "good" were the others. And a note the director: showing us totallynaked hot chicks and the (open) butts of the protagonists doesn't makeyour movie worth-seeing.

100 things I learned from The Naked mile

You gotta admit that this movie is kind of stupid. Even if this NakedMile thing really exist, I don't think it is arranged like that.1. In college, you party naked and with an erection.2. You use your erection during the party to play games. During thisgame several hundreds are staring at your penis.3. It is very important NOT to be a virgin. If you are you will mostlikely be haunted by this, everyone will make fun of you.4. Ugly people don't exist. 5. Sex is the most important thing in the world. The most importantthing in a relationship is sex. Not honesty, trust, humor, that youlove each other. No! Sex! Rembember that!

Pretty bad, even for what it is

Perhaps I just don't get the movie business, but I never thought theycould squeeze three more sequels out of this franchise just by namingrandom characters Stifler. So this time around it's some guy named ErikStifler's turn to lose his virginity and get into misadventures, whilein the meantime his interchangeable friends just kinda stand around andremind everyone his name is Stifler. They do that like, a lot. I thinkthe name Stifler is said about every six seconds or so, and all thesereferences do is make you wonder why you're not watching the realthing. Occasionally there's some vaguely funny stuff going on, like inthe scene where the gang plays football against midgets, but whateverpotential this movie had is ruined by the ridiculously awful dialogues.Even The Sherminator had cooler lines than the cool guys in this movie.The trash talk scenes have to be seen to be believed, and even then.And I can laugh at the dumbest, lowest, raunchiest things, but guysusing their boners as baseball bats is just really unfunny. And also,why the hell is Jim's Dad still around? Anyway, this movie has a goodmoment here and there, but for the most part it's dull and veryuninspired.

A Great Time Had by All

Okay, every lame self-proclaimed critic on here can whine about howthere aren't many famous people in this movie and how the studio is"tarnishing" the precious American Pie name, but the brass tacks of thesituation is this: it's a fun movie. A movie like this isn't judged onhow many celebrities are in it. Obviously, Jason Biggs isn't in it,Seann William Scott isn't in it, and if you know anything at all aboutshow-business, the reason why they're not is A)Money and B)They allwant to distance themselves from this because they want careers. Simpleas that. Not rocket science, people. This movie centers around a newgroup of funny characters and new scenarios. It's way over the top (ina good way) and the jokes never stop. Amazing set pieces and productionvalue make for a really slick movie with jokes aplenty and no shortageof hot naked women. The most fun character is Dwight Stifler (SteveTalley) who makes you wish the whole movie were about him. However, therest of the cast was great and I really thoroughly enjoyed the movie.I'd love to see another one, to be honest. This movie worksextraordinarily well for the genre.

It is simply awful. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody unless they wantsomething totally filthy and meaningless. I mean,it comes nowhere nearthe rest of the American pie series. I found it revolting and the waythe characters kept making fun of midgets and the use of the F word inalmost every sentence the guys use. I mean,come on Man..once or twiceis fine but over and over again makes you look simply 'trying toohard'. Of course there are a few occasional "funny" scenes but what'snew about them? And the way Jim's dad keeps on popping up with these"oh,i understand" talks----its just not funny anymore,guys.I suggestyou stop at this before it gets anymore worse.

Porno for kids (and drugs apology)

Before giving my opinion I would like to state that I really enjoyedAmerican Pie (the first one), for being a simple comedy with humancharacters and situations.the second one was mediocre, and from then all the sequels sucked.But what called my attention from this piece of crap was the "humor"(shall we call it "humor"? vulgar obscene and didn't make me laugh).Through the movie women are treated as prostitutes, you seeejaculation, drug consumption and a bunch of ass**les running naked.Is that supposed to be fun? In a country like the U.S where drugs arean uncontrollable outbreak, shall we laugh at someone that says -hey, thank you for that E - it wasn't E, it was viagra Is this supposed to be fun? Is it laughable to see women teenagersfuc**ng men like if they were buying a bus ticket? How stupid do youhave to be to laugh at a group of idiots running naked in theuniversity campus? I mean, it is okay if you go outside naked to dosome aerobics (as long as the cops don't catch you), but doing a wholemovie about it? This is not comedy, this is porno for kids.

Funny and enjoyable

I was really surprised and happy when I found out that the fifthAmerican Pie movie appeared, so with the first opportunity that I had Iwent to see it. Usually sequels are not so good and they copy so manythings, especially from the first movie, but even if it's the fifthAmerican Pie movie, The Naked Mile is really fun and enjoyable. Itcomes with some original ideas, definitely it has more nudity and evenif most of the actors don't have experience, I really liked the waythey acted and overall the movie was great. I didn't get bored and the90 minutes passed so quickly. I think guys will really like this movieand probably girls too, because they also can learn something fromthis. I give this movie a 10, because it was funny and definitely itwasn't a waste of time.

Just like the others

American Pie 5, is just like the others before it.It had alot of teen slang and also nudity. The stiffler in this one is not like the previous movies where most of the dialogue would go to the stiffmeister.Check it out though its still entertaining regardless of stiffler not receiving a lot of lines.

idk why people are saying bad things about this movie. i mean dont get me wrong, i would love to have another, all original cast, but i respect the national lampoon theme they are going for. i think there is a good theme for the movie, and has some funny parts. i do reccomend, dont listen to peoples bad reviews, you can make that judgement after youve seen it for yourself

I actually thought it was sweet

Not in that way sweet, of course. the fact that he rode a horse to her and stayed together and wont let sex come in between them. I actually want a boyfriend like that. Good movie. Eventhough it has strong sexual content in it, people ages from 14-18 would enjoy it and get the part of the story better.

Its just good to go and see what the Stifflers are doing,its a good enough story to know that watching it will give you some good laughs,i wouldnt knock it as bad or good.

A nice effort that mostly succeeds.

This piece of pie is very delicious and well baked but it's just notAmerican Pie. A very nice, sweet film that has good characters, afairly solid plot and a nice resolution but it just doesn't feel likeit's part of the American Pie set. As far as sequels and spin-offs goit's a real outsider which is it's only real flaw. Out of the originalcast of American Pie it only retains one character, that of Jim's Dad(however Eugene Levy is sublime as usual). That slight niggle asidethis a really nice heartwarming piece of cinema that really does makefor good viewing (if you can stand the copious amount nudity and toiletgags). Happy watching.

WOW! If you like this movie... you are dumb!

Whhhhhyyy would anyone create an American Pie 4, 5, or 6??! Askyourself... what could this movie possibly be about?! There is no plot,no meaning, and no comedy in this movie! The fact that it even got a5.0 rating makes me sick to my stomach. After accidentally seeing 20minutes of this movie I knew I had to write a review about the "horror"I had just witnessed. It makes me want to find, and torture the writersof this movie, let alone the people that PAID money to produce thisfilth! These actors got PAID?!?! WTF! Every scene tops the charts asthe next worse joke in the history of comedy. How the actors in thismovie ever agreed to subject themselves to such worthless "humor" Icould never imagine. It would take a HUGE paycheck for me to watchmyself look so absolutely ridiculous and UN-funny in a movie as sad asthis one... and after seeing their acting skills I can tell you theyweren't paid THAT much! Please do ME a favor, and anyone else with abrain a favor, DON'T watch this movie! If I see an American Pie 7, 8,or 9, called something along the lines of "50 Cent Blow Jobs" I willhave no faith in the future of the movie industry. Take the productionmoney and do something better with it, like haul my useless junk aroundthe world. This movie even manages to strip all humor from midgetjokes. It's a sad...sad movie.

Ruuun Stifler... RUUUUN! (3.5 Stars cause I still think it's better than Wedding)

This review is from: American Pie - The Naked Mile (Unrated Widescreen Edition) (DVD) At first there was Steve. Then there was Matt. Now... there is Erik. Stiflers. And we all know how the Stiflers are. Or do we? Actually Erik is more of a normal guy than any of them. He's so normal that no one even calls him Stifler like his cousins Steve, Matt, and even Dwight. It's just plain old Erik. Who by the way is a senior AND a virgin. BLASPHEMY for the Stifler name. But it's ok for Erik, sort of. He's in love with his girlfriend of 2 years who is also a virgin, so he does what he can to help relieve the stress...if you get my drift. As time goes on though, it gets even worse for him because he is constantly getting made fun of, and as we all know, standards are black and white different for being a virgin guy or a virgin girl. After some failed attempts, Tracy (his girl) decides she still isn't ready. Though to try and make him happy, she lets him have a guilt free weekend, which is basically letting him do anything he wants. Just so happens though he's going to visit his other cousin at college... Dwight Stifler, the king of his frat house and a campus legend.The first time I viewed this, I thought it was decent addition to the series, but now after seeing it a second time, I actually liked it a lot more the second time through. The jokes were pretty funny, but I think I just really liked the characters more than anything. Sure it can be unbelievable, but it's an American Pie movie. Erik was a little more interesting as a Stifler this time around, because it was nice to see just a normal Stifler compared to all the crazy ones we see. Of course he's still trying to get laid, but at least it's with his girlfriend instead of the whole world. And Dwight Stifler, to me, was a really cool Stifler. A lot less insane than Steve, and much cooler than Matt. He's exactly what I think of when I think of a frat house legend. Everyone wants to party with him, they basically cheer at anything he says, and he's always got some crazy sayings or ideas.And boy is there a lot of nekidness. Lots. As for the jokes, there were plenty for sure. Not all were funny (like a certain money shot scene that involved two guys), but I did laugh quite a bit. And the midgets...oh man. Talk about stealing the scenes. They had some of the best parts. I loved how they were the arch enemies of Dwight's frat. The football game was ridiculous (it was also like 10 minutes of the film...crazy) between those two. When the main midget dude bites Dwight, and even when you KNOW it's coming, I still laughed pretty hard.In the end, definitely give it a try. It's not that bad at all.
