Enjoyable :A typical Rohit Shetty Family EntertainerIt's a good Rohit Shetty comedy which has his Zameen cast thrill again. It's a movie seen without a brain. The story is all rattled and triesto create subplots just to not let it get boring while the comedy is alittle missing in the starting of both the halves. Yet, it gets reallyhilarious at times in the first half that it's difficult to control thelaughter. Also, the fighting scenes almost show super humans in actionand the fights do go a level beyond Singham and you get a smile whileseeing the nonsense-action.Among the cast, Prithviraj Raghuvanshi takes your breath away with hisEnglish and his shocking expression and even his innocence seems towork. Abhieshek unexpectedly comes with a superb act as Abbas Ali, thedance teacher. He is too good for what is probably his first completecomedy movie. And among others, Asrani rocks in his little screen time. The screenplay disturbs you as it prefers first time bollywood actorslike Krishna over veteran Asrani. He just has too much screen time tohandle. A little more VIP in sharing time with him would have helped.Yet, both of them were decent. Even Archana, I thought could have gotmore screen time. Also, please tell me why can't the actress in in a movie have somepunches. Both, Asin and Prachi Desai have little time on screen andthen they have to take care of the emotional content in that too. Iwould prefer Kareena in Golmaal 3 over these. These talented actresseswere not used properly. In the actors, even the characters aredeveloped well. A little more to the 2 actresses could've helped.Lastly, this movie does have a little lack of originality but it stilldoesn't bother the viewer much as AB Jr. and Ajay just excel. Watch itfor them. It's sort of a 7.5 movie but I think lack of story and welldeveloped subplots brings it down to 7. |

Lesser the expectations, more the entertainmentIt is a known fact that Rohit Shetty is synonymous with nonsense. Witha fight composer's blood running in his veins, he spares no penny inover-the-top action sequences that would put Tollywood to shame. Hiscomedy is bi-polar as well, ranging from inane and retarded tooccasionally, genuinely funny. Music has never been tasteful in any ofhis films nor has the importance of characterization and plot. Afterhis career highlight, 'Singham', Shetty partners with Ajay Devgan (alsoco-producer) in this outlandish remake of 'Golmaal' (Shetty can't getover it) which would be as forgettable as his previous films were itnot for some funny dialogues, situations and Ajay Devgan.Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) is running out of luck in Delhi as heloses the case around his ancestral property. Along with his sister,Sania (Asin), he pays heed to Shastri's (Asrani) advice and moves toRanakpur to work under Prithviraj (Ajay Devgan). Unfortunately, in abrave attempt to save a child from drowning, Abbas opens the gates to acontroversial temple and after the tension around Prithvi's family feudcools, his friend had no choice but to introduce Abbas to Prithviraj asa hindu, named Abhishek Bachchan. From hereon begins a series ofgoof-ups, cover-ups and unabashed lies that conceal Abbas' trueidentity. However genuine his intentions may be, he would always haveto confront Prithvi's stringent policy of honesty with fear. Ajay Devgan is the major reason you would bear this film. His comictiming, expressions and dialogues are the saving grace. With equal easehe transforms into the angry Singham version when enraged. AbhishekBachchan is passable. Comedy isn't his expertise and he does try hardbut in an unconvincing manner. Others could've played his role betterbut then they're not a Bachchan. Asin looks beautiful but has little tooffer in her acting, Asrani was splendid and Krishna Abhishek ishilarious especially when he weeps in nervousness. Archana Puran Singhwas hilarious switching between two characters and Neeraj Vora, although loud, portrayed some natural comedy. The film works in many of its dialogues, confusing situations and beinga spoof of several films. Where it falls flat into Rohit Shetty(nonsense) territory is its overdone mockery of the English language, the ridiculous action sequences, the wasteful song and dance and theimmature climax that drags the film to unnerving lengths. With smallerexpectations, the film delivers the goods. Popcorn entertainment iswhat we can categorize it as and after a few laughs, you won't regretspending the time and money. - 6.81 on a scale of 1-10. |

A movie for the entire family that can make you laugh and laugh till you drop!Comedy-of-errors has been the most explored areas in drollery. Thehumor growing out of false identities has been explored by manydirectors and producers in Bollywood since its inception. Some verypopular films based on this sub-genre are "Golmaal" (HrishikeshMukherjee), Coolie No.1 (David Dhawan) and the Housefull series bySajid Khan. Rohit Shetty, the director of the hilarious Golmaal trilogy, also triedhis hand at making a film based on comedy of errors by making the movie"All The Best". The film was a success. However, Rohit had created abrand out of Golmaal movies. Whenever we talk of Rohit the first thingthat comes to our minds are the hilarious characters in the movie thatprovided us many laugh-out-loud moments. Rohit has also shown us aglimpse of his expertise in the action genre with Singham. Now, hetries his hand once again at the comedy-of-errors genre with his latestflick Bol Bachchan, which is a rip-off of the cult classic HrishikeshMukherjee film, Golmaal. In the movie, Ajay Devgn plays a wrestler and the most powerful man inthe village. His character has been inspired from the character essayedby late Utpal Dutt in Hrishikesh Mukherjee's Golmaal. The characterplayed by Amol Palekar in Golmaal has been portrayed by AbhishekBachchan in the new movie. However, there are a few changes that havebeen incorporated into the characters. While we saw Utpal Dutt had anaffinity towards pure Hindi Language in Golmaal, Ajay Devgn's characteris so much influenced by English that he translates every proverb inHindi into English. This makes up for some hilarious one-liners like"when the elders getting cozy, young don't get nosy" or "he will dieTommy's death"! Amol Palekar had played the role of a singing teacherand also posed as his twin brother. Abhishek Bachchan, in the movie BolBachchan, portrays the role of a dance teacher and also poses as histwin brother. To make the character more genuine and in tune with theaudience, Abhishek has played the usual sissy act when posing as thedance teacher.Rohit Shetty has followed the 1979 classic to the hilt. That is themain reason why his movie has not wandered off at any point. He wasaware that it was pointless to try and be better than the original cultclassic, therefore he sticks to the pilot act and has kept the classicmoments and characters intact. Therefore, in Bol Bachchan as well, wewill see Archana Puran Singh (who plays the role of Abhishek's motherand also poses as her twin) entering through the back door, just likeDina Pathak's character in the 1979 movie. To make the movie more grasping, Rohit Shetty has included onecharacter in his movie and that is of Ajay's rival cousin from theneighboring village, played with elegance by Neeraj Vora. This givesRohit a scope to try his trademark action sequences which involvesblowing up cars and mindless fight scenes. However, sometimes we feelthat he might have over-done in a few scenes. Certain scenes likeAbhishek's dance sequence before interval could have been curtailed. The non sense English by Ajay seems a bit over-the-board and after sometime, one fails to grasp on to the humor that his one-liners present.Nonetheless, Rohit Shetty does not complicate the script and keeps itsimple. There is no slapstick humor and the scenes are genuinely to belaughed at. All the characters have been portrayed with perfection. Themost notable name will be Abhishek Bachchan who plays the role of hislife. Final Verdict, Bol Bachchan is a family entertainer and will certainlymake you laugh and laugh till you drop! |

twin splitting comedyThe movie begins with a disclaimer from Amitabh Bachchan that he is nota part of it. But its a delight to see him rocking in the prelude.Especially so, with the extravagant and loud background, which pullsyou right into the plot. There is no tussle for appeal between Ajay Devgan and AbhishekBachchan. They have the best chemistry, seen after a long time. Infact, Devgan lets Abhishek have his moments of some very gay dancing.Abhishek creates some of his Dostana magic, and it does not go waste. And both of them suit very well to Rohit Shetty's characteristic butawesome and amplified fight sequences. The other characters too, have done well. The whole cast responds wellto the story, with each one's personal touch to their roles. This helpsin evoking the audience, even despite, the weak plot.Despite being a comic flick, the movie expects a certain intellect fromthe audience, to see the connection and word play which the makers wishto create. And here in lies the beauty of a well-made comedy. The action and car sequences are typical Rohit Shetty stuff. However, even if you know they are coming, one cannot have enough of them. Infact, the only let down in this movie is that it ends too quickly andabruptly. This is a clean comedy film. It is a must watch for those who enjoyedGolmaal, new and old. |

Worst ever Rohit Shetty Film !Yes, you won't believe but that's true. After Golmal series & Singham,I was expecting a lot from Rohit Shetty. With stars like, Ajay &Abhishek, Directory Rohit Shetty you definitely expect a lot. But thismovie has failed in each category.Story: A big rubbish, copy of Amol Palekar's Golmal, some part fromChor Machaye Shor (almost copy of old Golmal). But directed so badly, that the copy is even worst.Dialogues: Not a single dialogue, which you can laugh on. They are soworst, if you have ever watched Comedy Circus, you will definitely cryon poor dialogues. There are 3-4 dialogues which are repeated 3-4 times!!!There are so many loopholes in the movie, you can't think about it. Ifthis movie was named 'Golmal 4' may be I would have said less bad aboutit. Cause that's what the series is all about. But with so muchbol-bola(Hype) of Bol Bachchan, you expect a lot from the movie.Screenplay: So much of messy in screen play, even if you miss anything, not a prob, come at any time, you will understand the story. There areso many things which happen in the movie, which has no relevance inlater part.Acting: Not much, with poor dialogues & direction, even good actorscan't do much.Overall my ratings would have been -10/10. Watch movie only if you cankeep your brain out.Thumbs down. |

Classic Roht ShettyThis movie has got Rohit Shetty written all over it. It's loud, chaoticand entertaining. The action sequences are also very typical of hiswork. lots of noise, cars flying, and superhuman fighting skills. Toenjoy this movie I suggest you leave your brains at home and watch it.Ajay Davgan has done a good job like he always dose in a Rohit Shettyfilm especially his English which was the only thing that got mechuckling in the theater. Krishna Abhishek has done a lot of overactinglike he always dose even in his laughter challenge TV shows. Peoplelike him but I'm not a fan in particular. Overall I think it's a onetime watch. Don't look for sense in the movie. |

Bol Bachchan .... will remind you milk no. 6Bol Bachchan made me laugh … period. The "English" speaking Ajay Devgn (whose interpretation of famous Hindiproverbs, though forced, did extract quite a bit of laughter from theaudience), the awkward Abhishek Bachchan playing 2 personalities (oneof a hard-working man & the other a effeminate dancer) is hilarious andthe surprise package Krishna Abhishek (better known from the comedycircus on TV) who has a meaty role and keeps you in tears (by makingyou laugh, of course), all have delivered a rollicking & high spiritedcomedy with signature Rohit Shetty action. Veteran Asrani and a regularcharacter actor Neeraj Vora do a commendable job of supporting the mainprotagonists. The loud Archana Puran Singh is as usual loud, Asin couldhave been pivotal but is forgettable & Prachi Desai looks very fair(though the director was unfair to have given her a blink and missrole). Amit jee (Bachchan) graces us with his presence in the openingsequence song and very aptly clarifies, "I am not in the main movie …only my name is there".I read somewhere that the movie is the official remake of yesteryear'shit comedy Golmaal (No, I am not talking about the Rohit Shetty serieswith the same name) and though neither Abhishek Bachchan can ever matchthe subtlety of Amol Palekar or Ajay Devgn remotely take on UtpalDutt's style … this one still had me in splits from the start. The team of Ajay Devgan & Rohit Shetty are back again doing what theydo best … over the top action sequences (you do see a Singham hangover)& slapstick, in your face comedy which in this one was surprisinglyfunny. I hated myself for laughing at the Comedy Central styled jokesand loved every bit of it. Even though I went with a preconceivednotion of watching a mindless, slapstick comedy, this one wascompletely worth it. |

mindless comedy salvaged by plot and actingThe 70s were golden times- not only because i was born then, but alsobecause it churned out timeless classics from Bollywood. HrishikeshMukherjee's Golmaal was one such comic caper- Utpal Dutt and AmolPalekar effortlessly creating magic that demands multiple viewings. Thedefinition of entertainment was different then- more substance, lessstyle. Better acting, less special effects. High on creativity, tightscript, memorable dialogues, hence less cringe-worthy situations. RohitShetty, after making billions through the name Golmaal, decided that hecould wring it for some more, and out came Bol Bachchan, starring AjayDevgn and Abhishek Bachchan. To be fair, and considering the current state of Hindi mass marketcomedies, Bol Bachchan is actually a watchable effort- i mean iactually did laugh a bit. The basic fabric of the original story isretained- Ajay is Prithviraj, the self-styled maharajah in Raunakpur, and he employs Abbas Ali (Abhishek Bachchan) who has had to hide hisMuslim identity to prevent a caste war. The only think Prithviraj hatesis deceit- but lies are told to cover up previous lies, and itsnowballs into one comedic set-piece to another. Everything works outwell at the end in an overdrawn climax as Ajay exclaims- "My chest hasbecome a blouse"- go figure.Prithviraj is an extension of Ajay's character in Golmaal 3- Gopal.Tough, with a heart of gold, but a simpleton, he has two passions- thefirst one being body building, and the second being able to speak aversion of English that is there just for added laughs. To Ajay'scredit, he carries his character's stupidity with admirable honesty, and also allows AB Jr. to shine. As the titular character, AB gets themeatier role- and he is great in both, especially so in his gay avatar.Gay AB is even better than the current gold standard, Riteish Deshmukh-there i have said it!!!The funniest moment for me in the movie waswhere Mr. "Two left feet" AB Jr. has to dance to a medley of tunes. Hischemistry with Ajay is great too, and this is one reason he shouldstick to ensemble movies, and stay away from solo features- Guru was anexception, then. The supporting cast also do a fantastic job in creating the laughs- itsgood that Asrani knows only one way to act, one way to deliverdialogues over 40 years- all through the movie you want Angrezo kezamaane ka jailer to come out, and he does in the end. Neeraj Vohra asMakhan is a scene stealer, and TV comedians are in for good times itseems- the film starts actually getting funny once Archana Puran Singhmakes her entry, as the evergreen Zohrabai, and Krishna as Ravi Shastrican make people laugh by his ability to cry at will.In fact it is theacting along with the solid source material which enables this film topunch above its weight. On the flip side, this is a typical Rohit Shetty movie with no connectto reality. The town of Raunakpur and its maharajah fearing denizensseem straight out of a period movie. There are unnecessary actionsequences- cars are blown up, and glass shattered just because there isa budget for the same. Prachi Desai and Asin play the romantic leads ina strangely disconnected fashion, and like a lot of these actionentertainers (Rowdy Rathore etc) the goons seem to largely come fromTollywood. The film should have ended 30 minutes before it actuallyended, and the music by Himesh Rehammiya is really bad, even by RohitShetty's standards. To sum up, Bol Bachchan is another mindless comedy. Its headingstraight for your wallet, not your senses, and i have a feeling thatpeople who go to watch it already have their expectations set, so aregoing to enjoy it. A truckload of entertainment it isn't, itsforgettable fare- been an hour since i have seen it and its alreadyslipping my mind, but then there are a few enjoyable moments in themovie, and the humor is clean, the actors are sincere- 6/10 for thatand i need to watch the original again ASAP. |

Laughed out Loud!!Yes!! this movie is awesome, and with very good comedy. In short moviehas a good story, the crew is excellent, and fantastic acting by AjayDevgn, and Abhishek Bachchan. Sometimes you just to have come to cinemawith open mind. Don't over-think much about this film, as it just goeswith the flow :). Ajay Devgan and Rohit shetty pair once again provedthat only this pair can make the best commercial movies. Ajay Devgn'sacting and comedy( just mainly of using wrong English words) is toogood. Abhishek Bachchan's acting timing is also very good. Its a fullentertaining package for everybody with family. Prachi Desai looks cutein the movie. This movie is going to be a super-hit. Awesome 10 out of10! |

bast of theRohit Shetty Ajay Devgn and abhishek bachan....i don't see no other way to make batter this film..this is really goodcomedy movie..ajay has prove again that he can play any role he wantand he make that role perfect..Bol Bachchan will undoubtedly draw infans of muscleman Ajay Devgn (Singham) and his longtime collaborator, director Rohit Shetty (Golmaal: Fun Unlimited), for a healthy run atthe box office. But its biggest surprise is Abhishek Bachchan, whoreveals an unexpectedly subtle side and a talent for verbal humor inone of his best performances to date. Rohit Shetty yet again displayshis penchant for picking the right actors for the right roles in BolBachchan. Ajay Devgn as the angry young Prithvi excels in a role thatseems absolutely tailor-made for him. Abhishek Bachchan is entirelybelievable as the helpless simpleton Abbas. Asin scorches the screen asa desi girl with loads of attitude. Prachi Desai comes up with yetanother fine performance in this enjoyable flick. Bol Bachchan alsobenefits from its slick storyline, developed by Farhan Yunus andSajawal Sajid. Sajid has come with real strong dialogues too, whichwould definitely be lapped up by the masses. Screenplay by YunusSajawal is equally efficient. Editor Steven H. Bernard and art directorNarendra Rahurikar also lend a distinct crispness and stylish feel tothe movie. |

Apurv Nagpal (2013-05-16 12:41:42) |
A delicate balance of funny and cringe-worthy momentsTo the old, sweet, amazingly funny, classic comedy, Golmaal (HrishikeshMukherjee, 1979), apply the Higgs Boson particle to it ie attempt tomake it a 'mass' film, an 'entertainer'. So add liberal doses ofsilliness, unnecessary plot complications, shrillness, crassness, slowmotion fight sequences and many, many blown up vehicles. Also add a fewsequences & a few jokes that really make you laugh. Just pray that thecringe-worthy moments don't outnumber the LOL moments & that dependsentirely on your sensibilities. The broad outline of the original story is retained. Ajay Devgn, localtough & rich landlord, employs Abhishek as a supervisor. Unfortunately,Abhishek, a Muslim in the film, has to pretend to be a Hindu in frontof Ajay. One lie leads to another and soon he has to invent a gay,Muslim identical step brother, a mother, the mother's identical twinsister etc. Prachi, Ajay's sister, is Abhishek's love interest. Asin,Abhishek's sister, is Ajay's love interest. And Jeetu Verma is there asAjay's evil cousin only so that muscles can be rippled and bonesbroken. Neeraj Vora as Ajay's sidekick and Asrani and Krishna asAbhishek's uncle and son, respectively are there to attempt to wring afew more laughs from you. Ajay's character likes to speak English and mangle it beyond belief, and this ability provides many of the comic, funny moments of the film. You watch in awe, wondering what he will come up with next, a bit likewhen you watch Sidhu comment on cricket. It works in short doses andappears a bit stretched in the second half. 'When elders get cozy, youngsters don't put nosy' or 'Thank you for the Complan Boy'(compliment) don't seem rib tickling but given Ajay's fulsome deliveryand the situation, it does generate quite a few laughs. Abhishek plays his two roles quite straight, pun intended. The sequencewhere the gay character has to dance to a medley of songs in unisonwith two of Ajay's henchmen is crass but makes you laugh in parts. Asinis strangely muted in the film, while Prachi also has a small role, without much meat. The movie is too long, the songs aren't great, the fight sequences toosimilar to what we've already seen from Rohit Shetty's earlier films. There is a vision here to make it a comedy for the masses and judgingby the loud laughs from the audience, he's got it right. I feel, with the same cast, just keeping it along the lines of theoriginal could've worked just as well, but I fear I would be in theminority in the industry. Would love it if there was a face-off betweenan intelligent, well made comedy (like a Vicky Donor, Khosla ka Ghosla)& a 'mass' one like this, with similar level of star power in both. Iwonder which film would then have a bigger box office ? More atwww.apurvbollywood.blogspot.in |

It was fun to watch it.This movie was really funny. After long run of crappy Hindi "funny"movies it was a really fun to watch movie. Well I am not saying this isa hilarious movie. But its not that bad as the reviews are showing. Thematter is you have know about our Indian culture (specifically villageculture) to enjoy the funny part of this movie. Also there were someparts where actors said some dialog from previous funny movies. Thosewere also funny. So you see if don't know about our culture or aboutour long tradition of funny film culture - you wont get the funnyessence from it. Abhishek Bachchan, Ajay Devgan were awesome. But this girl "PrachiDesai" is a gorgeous actress (or whatever) but she does not know how toact. Also "Krishna Abhishek" in some part of the movie did someirrelevant overacting. |

Mix of Hrishida + David DhawanRohit Shetty after hit comedies turned to action with SINGHAM(2011)which was a runaway hit. Rohit Shetty's ALL THE BEST was a lameadaptation of Hrishida's earlier classics. BOL BACHCHAN is inspired byHrishida's GOLMAAL(1979) which however is modified, Just the basicconcept is the same and some twists. I wont be foolish to compare it tothe classic as RS is no Hrishida Bol Bachchan doesn't only resembleGOLMAAL but the story has been done to death by David Dhawan in COOLIENo.1, Saajan Chale Sasural and Chor Machaiye Shor. There are manyscenes copied with dialogs from Chor Machaiye Shor(2002).Like the scenewhere Ajay and Neeraj Vohra lend in Abhishek's house and also thedialogue by Abhishek Izzat kam ho jaati hai. Also several more scenesare similar to CMS which was a flop. BOL BACHCHAN's biggest asset isthe dialogs especially the half broken English dialogs for Ajay Devgn. To start with the film starts with an item number with Amitabh,Abhishek and Ajay Devgan in their own voices and then Bachchan gives awarning that only his name is in the film. Seconds later we areintroduced to Small B in a simple avatar. Then Ajay Devgn is introducedwith all the slow motion shots, loud background score.etc Every sceneof Devgn is shot in the same manner which gets repetitive soon. RohitShetty seems to have not forgotten SINGHAM or perhaps he intendedly letthe hangover of that film creep in, Ajay's character is moulded likemix of Utpal Dutt and Singham character. some scenes have the samebackground music of Singham too, even the action scenes are similarwith the same over the top slow motion punches, the extras leapingslowly after being hit. There are some funny scenes like the firstscene by Ajay-Abhishek, even the scene where Abhishek cooks an alibiabout his name and his brother later. Abhas's intro is quite funnythough long drawn. Abhishek's dance is funny. Also the scene where allhis 3 mothers arrive on the scene. The best part is the hinglishdialogs inspired from TASHAN but work well. The film keeps reminding usthe GOLMAAL reference, from the play act which is named GOLMAAL whichalso has comedians VIP imitating Utpal Dutt(better then Ajay Devgnimitating Utpal in 1 scene) and also a scene showing Golmaal(1979) onTV which is a copy paste of a similar scene from COOLIE No.1(strangelythe same movie was shown there too) The second half has some funnyscenes too but some scenes don't work too, like the forced Asinlookalike track, Rohit Shetty tries to cram in too much just for thesake of laughs which is boring at many places, like in many scenes wesuddenly have Abhishek and Krishna break into some weird jigs whichdon't work. The climax too is long drawn and isn't impressive much. Also there is the usual masala of Rohit Shetty which is playing withcars, blasting cars, buses.etc which is repetitive.Direction is average Music by Himesh is okay, CHADAON NA NAIN is good,Chori se nazrein by Ajay-Atul is the best track Dialogues are awesome, especially those mouthed by Ajay DevgnAjay Devgn with a tattooed torso(which doesn't gel with his villagerrole though) with a well built body looks great. He plays his part witha mix of the SINGHAM Angry Young Man act and also mixes it with comedyand does it very well, for an actor who was initially awful in comedy, slowly his comedy is getting much better though at times his act doesget boring. His high pitched baritone dialogue delivery is also attimes irritating, yet he does a good job especially when it comes todelivering the English lines. Abhishek in his first attempt perhaps infull over the top comedy tries his best, he does a good job especiallyin the gay act, as Abhishek too he plays the serious scenes very well,in comedy too he is good at times but at times tends to lookuncomfortable. Prachi Desai looks cute and does a decent job Asinhowever annoys with her dubbed voice Amongst rest Krishna gets lot ofscope and does the most of it, in his second innings thanks to ComedyCircus, after the dismissal debut in YEH KAISI MOHABBAT HAI(2002) whichis forgotten, Govinda's nephew does a good job though at times he doesget too loud and jarring VIP is however releagated to the backseat.Archana Puran Singh is superb in her act thankfully not hamming it upwith her shreaky voice like she does mostly. Though not as great as thelate Dina Pathak in the original. Asrani was a regular in Hrishidafilms hence it's strange seeing him in a lame remake of GOLMAAL whichwas one of the best films by Hrishida. he is as usual. Neeraj Vohraafter recently making small appearances finally gets a meaty role whichreminds us of Om Puri in CMS, he does a great job He gets most of thebest dialogs too. The villain is okay |

Superstar Ajay Devgan shows what a great actor he isThe story is not the greatest of all... but this amazingly entertainsand leaves a very good taste in the audience, Rohit Shetty did amarvelous job. The movie stars Ajay Devgan and Asin.I went to watch this with my friends and we enjoyed this movie from thebeginning till the end. Ajay Devgan bashing the goons with charisma andwith broken English that is hilarious, Devgan has improved his comicacting so much in the last few years, this movie belongs entirely tohim, he carried this film on his shoulders. Movie would of been a flopif it had another actor.Ajay Devgan was very humorous with his English. |

Time-Pass!Rohit Shetty's Much Awaited 'Bol Bachchan' is a Time-Pass Fare, thatshouldn't be taken seriously. Its strictly pop-corn entertainment, thatdoesn't even attempt to be remotely remarkable. If having fun at themovies is what you're looking for, then 'Bol Bachchan' is waiting foryou.'Bol Bachchan', inspired by the classic 'Gol Maal', tells the story ofhow one man's lie, leads to a puzzle of confusions. 'Bol Bachchan' has a hilarious first-hour, with each passing scenestanding out. The interval point, is simply superb. However, thesecond-hour loses pace & the climax seems a bit stretched. Yunus Sajawal's Screenplay is funny & entertaining, but it definitelycould've been stronger in the latter hour. A Special Mention for thedialogue written by Sajid-Farhad. The dialogue are simply hilarious!Rohit Shetty's Direction is good. Cinematography, Editing & Art Design, are efficient. Action-Sequences are over-the-top. Music by HimeshReshammiya & Ajay-Atul, is energetic.Performance-Wise: Ajay Devgn is excellent, yet again! He very playfullyplays his part & delivers the funniest lines with ease. His brokenEnglish is sure to bring the house down. Abhishek Bachchan does anequally good job. The actor scores as Abhishek & is simply flawless asAbbas Ali. Asin & Prachi Desai get limited scope & they both delivermediocre performances. Krushna Abhishek, Asrani, Neeraj Vora & ArchanaPuran Singh are simply fantastic in supporting roles. Amitabh Bachchanappears in the title track. On the whole, 'Bol Bachchan' works till it lasts. |

Waste of timeBakwaas story... In spite of this, very good direction by Rohit Shetty.Very good acting by Ajay Devgan, Abishek Bachchan. Koja Abbas was goodtoo.Scriptwriters for the movie should get the worst scriptwriting awardfor this movie... Even a fifth grader could come up with a better storythan this. But Rohit Shetty has done an excellent job of directing abad story. Since the story is absolutely worst, it seems Rohit Shettyhas painstakingly gone through the trouble of giving the movie a life.If the movie was directed by a bad director, the movie would be a totalflop. Kudos to Rohit for his brilliance.Ajay Devgan was very humorous with his English. |

A Must Watch !Ajay Devgan and Rohit Shetty did it again. A awesome humor movie withnice songs.the typical Rajasthan look with colorful clothes to languageis also cool. Ajay Devgan is as usual cool in comedy as well as action. And many comedy circus Comedians even got chance to work in movie withKrushna as in Lead supporting actor. And as most of you must have gotthe trailer of Ajay Devgan's English from the promo video's, believe mehis English is the most funniest part in movie. Abhishek bachchan did agood job too in acting and after years Himesh Reshamiya is back withawesome song.Just go for it and enjoy. |
