View it from the right perspective

This is yet another wild fun ride that requires a certain mindset to enjoy. This movie is purposely made to be ridiculous. Senseless storyline and over-the-top action (reminds me of Machete). If you enjoy lots of action and just feel like having fun without caring about the story, you'll enjoy it, because it offers you tons of non-stop action with really no story =) Otherwise, please don't even bother going to see this movie, you will be disappointed.

One of the worst movie's I have ever seen...

This is seriously one of the worst movies I have ever seen. A group of us all unanimously voted to turn it off after about 35-45 minutes. I would not recommend that you even waste a dollar of your money.

Drive Angry needs to drive angrily into the dump!

When I first saw the trailer for Drive Angry, I thought it might be a pretty awesome action movie. But when I saw it blew my mind for the wrong reasons. The polt was realatively weak, acting wasn't all that terrific, horrible dialogue, and too much sex for my own taste. It started off bad and got progessively worse as it got along. This movie was a waste of my time and money.

DRIVE ANGRY 3D – TRASH IT ( F ) With Drive Angry, Nicolas Cage provedit that he has finally lost his mind and the only way he can survive inmovies if they are keep making more National Treasure's sequels. It'snot Cage's fault to do a movie worth 50 mil budget but it is his faultto do a movie with a director, who has directed "My bloody Valentine3D". First of all Nicolas Cage is too old to take revenge now and thenrevenge from Hell, that's little too much. The supernatural element hasnever been visualized in more horrendous way than we see here. The onlyreason I was interested in this movie was because of Amber Heard, shemay not be a good actress but man she is smoking HOT. Even this time, Iwas able to tolerate this crap on DVD. Billy Burke is irritating, afterwatching him in "Red Riding Hood" as creepy father/Wolf & now here ascreepy Devil/Di*kless Worshiper. O' it will be really tough to see himas Bella Swan's father in "Twilight:Breaking Dawn". I can't say moreabout this pukeble adventure of sh*t, Trash It!

Ai ai ai...This was bad...

The first line of the movie contained the term MF twice... I hoped thatdidn't say anything about the rest of the movie, but I was wrong. BADlanguage (I really don't know anybody who speaks like the people in themovie)Unwanted breast implants/sex scenes... It doesn't happen oftenthat all the people I went to see the movie with felt uncomfortable...The acting wasn't the worst at all, it was the script that just stunk.I always wonder who the makers of a movie like this have in mind as anaudience. If you're into bad language, weak story, violence and adeteriorating Nicolas Cage, this may be something for you. And by theway, don't let your kids watch this...

cage..doing it all

first of all ENGAGE THE CAGE...secondly this film is better thanmachete...third of all.. crazy things happens...fourth of all this filmdestroys all preconceived notions..definitely better than most anythingyou would watch instead...i mean come on!!! nick cage escapes from helland kills people? thats all you need to know..i mean i did not even seeit in 3d and it was amazing.....he just goes around as classic cagedestroying things and people..its reminiscent of the long lost classicvampires kiss... if any film should be watched its this film....and thebest part isn't just the cage....the accountant ..is a greatcharacter..and even the leader of the satanic cult......so do yourselfa favor..and watch it

Mess of crummy ideas slapped together into a semi-coherent feature film...The "it's so bad it's good" argument can only account for a tiny portion of the film. After that, it's all just genuinely bad.

Explosions and Nothing

Drive Angry is about a dead guy who is back to the earth for revenge.He has to save his grandchild and one person named Accountant from hellis chasing him to take him back. His name is Milton he has to searchJonah King who has his grandchild. Jonah King wants to sacrifice thelittle girl so that he could be immortal. He runs the religious groupwhich believes in black magic kind of something.In this all chase there is plenty of blood, violence and action. Butmovie feels boring and unbearable at several occasion. Action doesn'thelp to excite you and script goes nowhere. One of the disappointingmovie of the year.

Badass 3D movie (Movie Theater review)

This is one of the movies that 3D is not only used well but actuallyenhanced by REAL 3D, looks awesome and is NOT weighted down by it. Youdon't leave feeling cheated. The movie itself, Drive Angry is actuallypretty good. The only thing i noticed is slow the pacing, it was a bituneven, for a movie called Drive Angry it does slow down here or thereand i felt a little bored but luckily it picked up fairly quick. NickCage gives a decent performance. Amber Heard and especially WilliamFichtner who plays "The Accountant" were also good.This is easily the best 3D movie I've ever seen. It doesn't feel like agimmick, its used perfectly, the way it should be. It was worth The 5extra bucks.Movie 6/10 3D: 8/10 Theater experience: 9/10

Made a 5 hour flight feel like 15 hours.

Stuck on an airplane watching whatever movies they have on the systemand this one shows up as a "New Release." So I start watching this andafter about 20 minutes I just kept watching to see if it could get anyworse. Well, it did. This is one of the most inane, embarrassing,pointless movies ever made. Just as an example of how stupid this movieis: At one point they need to "Hide the car because the law is afterthem." But the car won't run so they start pushing it to hide itsomewhere. Except they're pushing it down a 4-lane Interstate Highway!Yea. Nobody will ever notice them doing that.Nicolas Cage must be broke, on drugs, or have a load of alimony to payto be making movies like this. Seriously, don't waste your time. Ifyou're stuck on an airplane, watch anything BUT this one.

I was a bit dubious about because of the leading actor having a spellof bad films in the last few years, but I was more convinced afterseeing the leading actress interviewed on Top Gear, she admitted to bebisexual and having a huge love for cars, hence choosing this film,from director Patrick Lussier (Dracula 2001, White Noise: The Light).Basically John Milton (Nicolas Cage) is chasing Satanic cult leaderJonah King (Billy Burke) against the clock because he killed hisdaughter, and her baby, his only biological link to her, has beenkidnapped. King is planning to sacrifice the child for the Satanicworship at midnight in three days, so Milton picks up the trail headingfor Oklahoma, along the way he also rescues Piper (Amber Heard) fromher cheating fiancГѓВ©. As they travel looking for the Devil worshippingmadman there noticeably odd things about Milton, such as his driver'slicence being out of date, having a strange gun, and being pursued by aman in a black suit with an FBI ID calling himself The Accountant(William Fichtner). It becomes apparent, after Piper is kidnapped andfound again by Milton that he is not truly human, because when itlooked like he was dead his fatal injury healed, so he has seeminglycome from Hell or back from the dead. In the end, after killing villainKing with his last bullet, it is apparent The Accountant, who was sortof in cahoots with the hero all along, and Milton will have to go backto wherever they came from, and Piper is entrusted to take the rescuedbaby granddaughter to Webster (David Morse). Also starring Tom Atkinsas Cap, Katy Mixon as Norma Jean, Christa Campbell as Mona and PruittTaylor Vince as Roy. Cage does alright in his part that's very similarto Ghost Rider, and Heard is obviously hot and feisty, the car chasesequences and near-animated action naturally steal the show, as well asthe gory moments and special effects, a reasonably fun action fantasyhorror. Worth watching!

Outrageous "B" flick plus 3D... awesome

This review is from: Drive Angry [Blu-ray 3D] (Blu-ray) Comment: I will be the first to admit that this movie made it into my house because I am a film collector and especially these days... Blu-ray 3D. I saw that the ratings were all over the place for all kinds of reasons. It makes sense if you are a "church/religious" person... you don't even know it exists or at best you will give it a one star rating. If you are a "wild and crazy guy" (person)... you will give it a five star rating. OK, so your taking the time to read my rating. When I critique a movie on Amazon, I do so by looking at the big picture. After watching this film I saw that it was a "shock and awe" movie... held together with 3D. I am no prude, neither am I a blood and guts for blood and guts sake type of guy. I am somewhere in the middle. Although the movie came close at times to overdoing it, it had some "smart" shocking scenes. If I had seen this movie in 2D I would have said sure whatever. I watched it in 3D and expected it to be shoddily done. But no! I have new state of the art Samsung 3D equipment and low and behold the 3D was the "icing on the cake" for me. It was just what this "done before" film needed. The cleverly done 3D made this campy also ran "B" rated movie a first rate Amazon five star "B" rated movie. If you are an open minded person and have decent 3D equipment, this may be a good change of pace where you can slip into the somewhat ridiculous lost worlds of "B" (C,D,E and F...) rated movies... now in the "new state of the art" 3D.

The unexpected!

NOTHING boring about it! A must see...one of the top movies of thisyear. Well, in my opinion!This is one of the most exciting action thrillers I've seen in a verylong time. The "keep you on the edge of your seat" action was superb!Nicholas Cage and Amber Heard was a great fit for this movie. I couldalso see Dwayne Johnson and Megan Fox playing the key roles...Now that,would be HOT!. Unlike some thrillers, you didn't know what was comingnext. Are you ready for loads of action, suspense, gore and guns? Areyou really ready for the "unexpected"? Well, grab a seat, a few snacks,and a few friends! You will be entertained! Also, you William Fichtnerfans will be in for a real treat! I love him in this movie! ENJOY

Terrible, just terrible

This has to be one, if not the worst films I've seen at the cinema.I knew this wasn't going to be amazing, but come on it was so bad andmade very little sense.Nicolas Cage looked bored the whole way through , his worst acting jobI've seen to date, I've now made the descision never to see any more ofhis films after seeing this and Knowing. He also had this ridclioushairstyle making him look like a Robert Plant lookalike to add to thisridiculous film, i swear his face didn't change the whole way through,just the same stupid expression muttering unexplained story lines.You may watch the trailer n think "yeh this will be great , Nicolascage n a blonde shooting people in a muscle car" no wrong. It turns outit is just some nonsense about the satanic worshippers and a guybreaking out of hell to get them, Really Nick? is this what levelyou've dropped too? I just have no words to describe how bad this was,at some points there is serious violence which is just stupid, and thenits trying to be funny and it fails and then it trys to bemeaningful.Just a blurry mess of rubbish.This film also highlights why 3D needs to stop. As if 3D is a new coolthing? no its not, its about 50 years old, just because its betterquality means nothing and adds nothing to the film, instead every 5minutes there's a bullet or a axe flying at you, yeh great, but I'veseen it over and over again. 3D is only being pursued because they knowthey can charge more for it and they can sell T.V's like they did withHD, well I'm sorry but 3D will not work and if you don't believe me gowatch this film.1/10 AVOID THIS FILM AT ALL COSTS, Don't WASTE YOUR MONEY
