Smallville is nice ... but just a few points/facts?After watching the first few seasons of Smallville I thought this isreally great, good acting, lot of action, drama, fun etc. But know thelast season (5) and the beginning of 6 actually disappoints me. Thestoryline is not really perfect and all is becoming too obvious, itseems that the characters are becoming blind (mainly Clark Kent, CloeSullivan and Lois Lane) even though Clark Kent can see trough wall andstuff it does not help him much seeing obvious. An example for the notperfect story line is the first episode of season six. Normally serieshave a last sick making episode to be assured that viewers willcontinue watching the next season and the first episode of the newseason is normally incredible.... but unfortunately with Smallville(season 6) Clark Kent cleared all the mess way to easy (in one lameepisode).Although the last episodes where kind of numb I really can say it isworth watching. I am sure Smallville will get back to the point it usedto be and till then I'll be watching will a little annoyance toSmallville |

Before the fight for truth, justice, and the American way...WB's new top-rated show, Smallville, has finally hit DVD! For those who are a bit fuzzy on the details, the show revolves around the teenage years of Clark Kent, whose destiny eventually leads him to become Superman. I'm not completely sure of the specs of the disc, but appearantly it includes the Pilot episode and the second episode (Metamorphisis), a deleted scene from the Pilot episode, an audio commentary by the producers, and an interactive map of Smallville. Admittedly, these two early episodes don't represent the best of what Smallville has to offer. Critics who think of the show as a Buffy/Dawson's Creek clone will have plenty to pick on here: we get a homecoming dance, teen angst over the girl next door (Lana Lang, played by an amazingly beautiful Kristen Kreuk)a 'freak of the week' who can control electricity (and later another one in the 'bugboy' vein), actors way too old to be in high school, and a typical 'Buffy-esque' plot: Boy likes girl. Girl has jealous jock boyfriend. Jealous jock boyfriend strings up boy in cornfield with kryptonite draped around his neck. And yes, the ending is overly sentimental and melodramatic, but like all hollywood teen flicks, it'll still manage to break your heart. However, the show still offers plenty of good stuff, for both newcomers and devoted Superman fans. The interaction between the characters are dead on, as is casting. The guy from the Dukes of Hazzard and Lana Lang from 'Superman III' (sorry, I can't spell their names) are perfect as Clark's parents. Tom Welling, Clark Kent, besides being a great actor, resembles previous Supermen Dean Cain and Christopher Reeve, and carries on the torch well. You'll forget about how old Welling really is five minutes into the story. Perhaps the show's riskest gamble, introducing a young Lex Luthor as Clark's big-brother/mentor, is it's biggest payoff. Michael Rosenbaum steals the show as Lex Luthor, and the show does a great job playing on the irony of his friendship with Clark. There are also several Superman references for fans, as is the norm with each episode. Be on the lookout for Clark in a symbolic red Superman cape, and the familiar 'S' shield in the most unlikely of situations. I highly recommend this disc. While the episodes are somewhat weak, the quality of the show has increased with almost every episode, and there's still enough goodies in here to warrant a look. Heres to hoping Smallville will be a very successful series. |

The origins of the 'Man of Steel'Smallville focuses on Suprman the early days; the adolescent, 'Man ofSteel' must deal with the pains and tribulations of growing up in aworld that is almost fragile and very frustrating. Not yet Superman,Clark Kent must try to find a hero in himself as he wishes to ridhimself of his powers and live a normal life; during a chance encounterhe meets Lex Luthor who becomes indebted to the teenager and soon thetwo form a friendship. I watch the reruns of season one on afternoons and find it almostrelaxing, it doesn't take itself seriously and has some great sceneswhich make you burst out in laughter. The cast is pitch perfect, Johnand Annette are very endearing as the young parents of the hero and TomWelling is in my opinion destined to be Clark Kent, he portrays thegeeky side of the hero and reveals the heroic elements required; Ifound Allison Mack and Sam Jones annoying at the start but you slowlybegin to find them very valuable while Kristen Kruek isjust....beautiful. She is Lana Lang and you can see why Clark Kentloves her...Michael Rosenbaum also known as Flash from Justice Leagueis Lex who is still on the path of darkness. The strong point of this show is the relationship of Clark and Lex; ithas hilarious consequences. Michael and Tom are just fantastic theyhave great chemistry; the special effects are really good and make yousquirm when Clark finds out about a new power; and deals with the factthat Speed and Strength are just the tip of the ice-berg. The only thing that bothers me is the Lois Lane thing...Erica Duranceis a great Lois but doesn't Clark meet Lois much later in life...thisis just the frustrating thing but all in all a great show to watch andrelax... |

really, really niceThis show is great. The creators of this show actually must have read the superman comic booksand have stayed as true to them as hollywood is ever capable of. Theyhavetaken some liberties but nothing that detracts from the story. Theimportant thing is that they have captured the spirit of thecomics.Particularly I have to give them a big high-5 for not doing the flyingbit. The original superman could not fly (he could only "leap tall buildings inasingle bound") and that is just fine by me. I always thought it lookedpretty lame in the other tv shows and the movies.I also like how they're getting into the relationship between clark andLex.That is a very deep mine that IS THE SHOW in my opinion. Thecharacterizations are nicely 3-dimensional and not just cartoons come tolife. This show makes "lois and clark" seem about as well crafted as"powerrangers" and i used to like L&C when it was on. Smallville overall seemsmore "creative" and less "hollywood formula"Special effects are used tastefully and only when necessary. Thatworks!I also love the atmosphere of angst that permeates the series. That'ssomething no one should lose when they leave their teens. The soundtracks are positively brilliant! (and i'm sure a nicepromotionalvehicle for the record companies -- i've already bought some of thosecd's)I find the "kryptonite infection of the week" a little wearying. I preferthe parts of the story that delve into the relationships between thecharacters, all the kents, luthors, langs etc. (of course i liked thex-files "conspiracy" episodes better than the "monster of the week" ones.)They have done a good job of slowly introducing bits of the supermanmythos. They've already shown us green and red kryptonite. I wonder when they'lldust off white or gold kryptonite, the fortress of solitude (both underseaand arctic), the city of Kandor, etc.... if ever. I like the low keyapproach so far of not deluging us with this minutia and only allowing ittomake an appearance when it seems natural. The fox executives who madethatpile of trash they called "dr. who" could learn a lot from the people atWBwho made smallville. The "look" of the show is very good right now but i'm worried that in tenyears it will look as dated as Lois & Clark does now. But I suppose rightnow they are trying hard to appeal to teens as well as supermanfans. This is by far and away the best adaptation of a comic book to TV and inmymind ranks right up there with the movie adaptations of X-men andSpiderMan. |

What is WB thinking?I'm a huge fan of Smallville and was really looking forward to the newmovie. I cant seem to understand why Tom Welling isn't superman. Thetorch was passed to him. He befits everything superman is needless tosay he's already seen as Clark Kent. i think this will be a travesty. It will hurt the name of superman in a big way! As for smallville itsself they have an all-star cast in my eyes. The 4 leading ladies arebeautiful and talented. Tom Welling is awesome as superman. MichaelRosenbaum is the perfect Lex, I've seen him and Tom in other movies andthey are great actors. Lastly who cant love seeing one of the Dukesrevived to TV glory playing Jonathon Kent. |

Seasons 1-4 are very good. Season 5 has been disastrousI'm not going to comment about seasons 1-4. I'm sure others have saidenough good things about it. They are very worth watching. I will makesome comment about Season 5 up until Episode 13 - Vengeance.****--- SPOILERS BEGIN ---I think the show is going down because:(1)The acting has been horrid. Clark looks so awkward and clumsy infront of the camera. One of the good actors (Schneider i.e. JonathanKent) is out of the show. I just watch the latest episode Vengeance andAndrea looked like some second-class porn star. Chloe gets so littlescreen time and when she appears she either acts nervous, shows her bigcleavage, or looks at Clark with sad eyes.(2)Terrible plot. This whole season has been a piece of crap. A sonessentially killed his dad, the man who raised him all his life, forsome confused chick. Lex is all out to get in Lana's panties. Lois issome out-of-the-blue campaign manager. Bald chicks are now trying tokill Kansas Senate candidates and porn stars are flying around SuicideSlump to kick gangsters' butts. And of course, the wholeI-love-you-but-I-can't-be-with-you thing is back between Clark andLana. I feel like watching season 3 all over again.(3)The characters are a lot less likable. Clark doesn't look like theman who will grow up to be Superman. He's in fact rather like someconfused idiot who makes a lot of hazardous conclusions, and stupidstatements like "...but I don't have a choice!" And God he looksincredibly stupid on the screen. Is Tom Welling too much a star now tocare about his acting? Where was the cute Clark of season 2!!?Misty-eyed Lana has now kissed Lex. Still whiny, bitchy, indecisive andimmature. Lex is some pathetic skirt chaser. Bring me the evil Alex whocares about nothing but world domination. Lois only appears once in awhile to give Clark an adoring punch on the left arm. So much for thesmart-brave-unstoppable reporter-to-be.****--- SPOILERS END ---In short, season 5 so far has contained bad stories, bad acting and thecharacters have become a lot less likable. I'm really disappointed bythis season and I feel like I've wasted my time following the show thisfar. My advise will be don't watch Season 5 until people say things like"Things have changed. The show is good again" then you can watch itknowing that it will eventually be okay. Watching it as it's beingaired has made me very angry, frustrated and disappointed.I think the show will be canceled if things don't change soon. |

One of the best shows on the WBOK first of all don't listen to the Aussie concerning one of the bettershows of Superman to come along in a long time. Lois and Clark waspretty much not what true comic book fans wanted to see, but what wehave here is originality and creativity in recreating the mythology ofthe Man of Steel. I am sure that you will find it interesting that itis one of the WB highest rated shows if not THE highest rated shows.Granted every so often, and I mean rarely, there is an episode that Icould do without, but they are having to work out not moving the showalong to quickly. Remember they are working with a timeline. I haveheard that they wouldn't go past the college years once they get there. So they have to take their time and I think they are doing a great jobof exploring everything from the powers that be to the relationshipsthat Clark has with his earthly family and others. I particularly lovedthe way they ended season three. SMALLVILLE IS GREAT, and don't letanyone sway you otherwise. |

TERRIBLEThis series premiered in Adelaide on 2/7/02 with a double-episode - but Icould only take the first one, that was enough. What a load of dribble!! Remember the old SUPERBOY show? This is even _worse_. There is not askerrik of originality within the story - what we got was Superman's"origin", half-baked at that, in a disappointing first episode thatcontained more holes than the proverbial swiss cheese. IMO, the US hasn'tcome up with a decent TV series - in any genre - for yonks. Do all writerscome from the same school? Shows like ER, THIRD WATCH, CHICAGO HOPE are allthe same; LAW AND ORDER, THE PRACTICE etc are all the same; ALIAS, BUFFY,and now SMALLVILLE are all the same; DAWSON'S CREEK, BEVERLY HILLS 90210 andnow SMALLVILLE are all the same-- do I have to go on? [And as for sitcoms, don't get me started.] Question: when is the US television industry goingto come up with something original, that isn't condescending, for viewers toactually enjoy? I give SMALLVILLE maybe ten episodes before it getsrelegated to a latenight timeslot, and then another five before it's axedcompletely by the Nine network. |

what a jokethis show is so ridiculous. the guy who plays clark kent is 23 yrs oldplaying a teenager, and the guy that plays his dad looks like he's 10 yrsolder than him. is it that hard to find a real teenager and a real middleaged man. the way their age is so close makes it hard to believe theirroles. what is up with that. i thought these people are supposed to beprofessional. why cant they find some people of appropriate age to play theroles |

Smallville is the best thing to happen to the T.V. Industry.Only Kidding its not very good.DONE. Now apparently I have to use tenlines or more so I am gonna name over used lines used through outSmallville ten season... Number 01: ''Lex'' Number 02: ''Was that athreat?'' Number 03: ''It's Lana'' Number 04: ''Oh no where did theyget kryptonite from its my only weakness yet I live in a town wherethat particular element is densely spread throughout the ground''Number 05: ''Clark again the world is in some kind of imminent dangerbecause you did something wrong which your space dad told you not to doin the first place, but you went and did anyway just for kicks and yetyou could probably easily defuse the problem you will make it overlycomplicated anyways.'' |

Has everything a fan could want out of a television series based on such a pop culture icon and a classic comic hero.At first Smallville didn't so much interest me and like a lot I wasthinking "Who wants to watch about Superman's early life? There'snothing that super about it till he becomes Superman." Of course Iwasn't the biggest Superman fan then but over the years I have grown abigger liking of the character and getting into this show a few yearsback all I have to say that I was a fool to say such about this showwhen it first aired. This show creates so much of the world of Supermanin it's roots and over time transforms the character of Clark Kent intoSuperman. Each season, each episode, brings him closer to where hemesses up his hair, takes off his glasses, and puts on the blue tights, red belt, red boots, red cape, and shows off the "S" symbol on hischest. Now, I'm sure plenty will say this number "It's Superman, it'll be alight hearted fest" Not quite true, this show is very dark at times andit deals with mature situations.Smallville also has some of the best acting I've seen in a comic bookrelated product and for a Superman product. The actors, from Welling toRosenbaum to Durance, fit their characters so perfect they even out duethe actors from the Hollywood films. Everyone is as humane as theyshould be.For it's budget, Smallville lacks in the CGI department, but are any ofthe visuals cheesy? If your expecting the Power Ranger sort of thingyou'd be wrong, for it's budget the effects are hardly silly to look atfrom my POV.Overall, this show is a fantastic ride filled with emotions and everyThursday it always gets a hold of me, no matter how much I try toresist. |

I wish I could forget this show's existenceThe CW and before it The WB seems to be the network for teen soaps. Inever watched Dawson's Creek, Gilmore Girls, or 7th Heaven although Imade an effort to watch Buffy (sorry for this, Sarah Michelle Gellar, you seem like a nice girl but you're a horrible actor) and Smallville.Buffy stunk because of the bad acting and storytelling but I stayedwith it for almost an entire season. I've watched a total of 8 full ofepisodes of this from different parts of it's run on TV and I can sayit's as bad as one can expect from a teen sitcom. It's basically acomposite of all teen stereotypes; the brooding pretty boy who is alsoClark Kent (Tom Welling), the popular but slightly insecure beautifulgirl in Lana Lang (Kristin Kruek), the hacker/technology expert whoseems to be able to do anything with a computer in Chloe (played by theextremely cute Allison Mack), and the sidekick who is also like thetoken black kid in Pete Ross (Sam Jones III). This along with cuttingand pasting of a few comic book story lines made more palatable for theaudience is about what makes up this show. It's not terriblenecessarily but seems have taken Clark Kent takes the better part ofNINE YEARS to actually become Superman. Tom Welling is also an okayactor at best who doesn't have the range to fake some of the basicemotions he supposed to be confused by all the time. The bestperformances were from Jonathan and Martha Kent (John Schneider,Annette O'Toole) and Allison Mack but after I found out thewriters/producers killed off Jonathan Kent with a lame heart attackstory I quit tuning in even occasionally. |

Best Superman TV show/movie.I have never read comic books in my life. Not that I hate comics, it ismuch simpler- in Russia comic books are not popular and there aren't any.So, even if I was interested in reading them (which I'm not) I stillwouldn't have a chance:) But I sure know all those superheroes from Marvelcomics and others. I've seen Superman: the movie directed by Richard Donnerand I actually hated it, to be honest, I've seen lots of adaptations of theSuperman story and none of them kept my interest, was capturing, to sayso. I accidentally saw the show on one cable channel and started watchingfrom the 4th episode of season1. What can I say? It is definitely the bestshow or movie about Superman. The only problem is -it is too addictive!!!I've just finished watching the third season and I can't wait to see whathappens in the next one. I do not watch all those soap operas, but for this show I mad anexception, this is not just a TV show, it is much better, it has no clicheTV stuff and it breaks the rules of ordinary TV shows being more than just ateen drama. What I hope for is that the same team that did this show, a couple ofyears later, when it is over, will make that long-waited remake of Supermanthe movie, with all the actors from Smallville. And I hope they find a morepretty actress for the part of Louis Lane than in the Donner'sversion;) What I liked most about season three is not all the stuff about Clark orany of those meteor-freaks, I like the father-son storyline about Lionel andLex Luthors, superbly brought to life by John Glover and MichaelRosenbaum. |

One of the best shows on TVI started watching this show half way through it's first season. Sincethattime I've been hooked. I've been able to watch it from first episode tothis weeks, and I'd have to say it's written brilliantly. The writers aretaking their time building Clark Kents abilities, showing the evil side ofLex luthor, but more importantly, the writers are getting the viewers tolike Lex Luthor. The casting was well done. The actors appear a little to old and matureforhigh school, but all dramas for that age group are. Who knows how old theDawson's Creek kids are now?I'm hoping the writers continue what they are doing now. It's easily myfavourite show on TV today. |

Pretty contrivedI saw the pilot of "Smallville" the other night and I think they need newwriters already. The graphics were cool but that's about it.Predictability is an understatement, and I'm not talking about the plot.Every character talks like they're reading from cue cards. Theconversations border on the forced and mundane. I found myself wanting tofast-forward the dialogue and go to the next "I'm going to get hurt and behumble" moment for Kent. I'll watch a couple more episodes, but the pilotwas nothing special. Just a bunch of WB vanilla-flavored soap opera talk. |

I love this show!!!!When I first started watching this show I could hardly wait for the nexttime it came on. I love the acting, story line, and drama's of this show. For the season finale I almost died when it ended. I have never been soexcited about the Fall in my life. The only thing my household wishes for is that Clark will end up withChloeand not Lana. Lana jerks him around where as Chloe is so sweet to him.It will be very interesting to see the fall of Lex and Clarks' friendship.Had we all never seen Superman, We would be knocked off of our seats toseesuch a thing. They are such good friends in this show. Lex is portrayed tobe very smart, as well as a good friend to Clark. The hints provided ineachshow about their friendship keeps the anticipation ongoing.I think the writer has done an excellent job and I can't wait for nextseason. I wish it will come soon! |

Awesome series!I'm going to begin by saying that I absolutely love Smallville; butthere are some things that make my rating go down to 9 instead of 10.For one, I think they have inserted some things that weren't really atall necessary to the storyline... like the whole deal with Lana'sancestor (I can't even remember her name now) in season 4... Or some ofthe scenes that show the characters nearly naked, Think of me as aweirdo, but I don't like that type of dirty scenes...I love the casting of this show... for the most part anyway... I'm nota very big fan of Erica Durance, especially cus not only as a characterin Smallville, but as an actress doesn't seem to have a lot of moral orethics... I honestly lose all appreciation of an actor/actress afterthey do a nude scene, and she doesn't here, but I'm pretty sure she didin "The Butterfly Effect 2". Also, I don't find chemistry between TomWelling and Erica Durance, and consequently between Clark and Lois...She seems to fit much better with Ollie. On the other hand, thechemistry between Tom Welling and Kirsten Kreuk is amazing... I've beena pro Clar and Lana from the very beginning, and I suppose that littlepart inside of me still hopes that the makers of this series willchange their mind and make Clark and out with Lana in the end...They've changed so much in the storyline already, why not that? heheI used to follow the series on the WB here in Mexico... but they hadway to many commercials and it was a really big torture to only be ableto watch this once a week... not to mention we were a couple of monthsbehind the US anyway... and to top it all off, when they originallyaired the 5th season they omitted the first episode >.> ...I have noidea why... So, ever since the 5th season we've been renting thisseries and finish a year's worth in about a week... And that's honestlyan awesome way to watch this series... heheAnyway, overall I think this series is awesome... every episode hooksyou up from the very beginning, I love the music on the show(especially the use of songs such as "Everything" by Lifehouse or "IDare You to Move" by Switchfoot), the actors really know what they'redoing, and overall the storyline is also very cool... So, 9 out of 10for this awesome Superman Series!~AngeDor |

A series worth rememberingSmallville has shown a great portrayal of Clark's early years. It showsthe struggles he and the others have to make to make sure he fulfillsis destiny (although he denies that his destiny at first). His powers are seen developing one at a time. X-Ray vision, heatvision, super-hearing and super-breath all develop in differentseasons, and in different scenarios.I liked the concept of Kryptonite-freaks. Kryptonite acts as a goodsource of mutant abilities. Without this concept, they would've foundit difficult to bring enemies with powers, and would have had to giveanother reasoning (e.g. radioactive waste etc)The talks b/w Lionel and Lex are just great. They're never boring. There were many episodes that weren't up to the mark, like the one inwhich Lana becomes a kind of vampire, or like the one in which Clarkgets hypnotized, and Facade But there were also really good episodes. My top favourites are Exile, Justice, Reckoning, Descent, Oracle,Transference, Sacred, Commencement, Blank, Exodus and Insurgence.I would like to see Clark go on to become Superman now, and want moreof the JLA members to be shown. Hope Season 8 is up to my expectations. |

Are you crazy? How can you give this show a perfect ten? I've kept track of theshow, from the pilot to phantom. I for one find several things wrongwith this series. Yes lana is one of the faults of the show, but thebiggest fault to date. Is the creators and the writing team for theshow. For the last six years this program is a failure. When it comes to theSuperman Mythology. Take away the acting performance, the specialeffects, and you've got a rip off of it's own mythology. From the Christopher Reeve Superman films,to 80's Superboy series, andthe 90's Lois & Clark. Al Gough & Miles Millar have purposely rippedoff scenes from past series. They've even ripped off films like Fast &The Furious,Flatliner, etc. One example of a pathetic excuse of a writer.Would be Steven DeKnightIn his Season 5 episode Mercy,he ripped off.The horror franchiseSaw,and in his Season 6 episode Zod. Most of the episode was a completerip off,of Superman II. Do they really think the die-hard fans won'tnotice this? The entire point of writing an episode is to make it your own.To beoriginal not steal episode plots,and/or scene from previousseries/films. I'll agree the show does have it's good moments.Butmostly it's never been true to the mythology. Like killing off JonathanKent, and then implying that he had.A heart attack, because he lost histemper. In the comics there are several superman titles. That showJonathan still alive, when Clark is Superman. Even Dean Cain's Lois &Clark had Pa Kent still alive.Overall if your going to tell the tale of young Clark Kent. Before hebecomes Superman. You don't have it be about him meeting. His futurewife Lois,Jimmy Olsen,or his Justice League partners. Before he's gotthe suit.As for lana after Season 4 wrapped up.Lana should've left the seriesshe was his high school crush.Clark's not in high school anymore, andfor the record. The real lana in my book is Chloe Sullivan. KristinKruek's lana was a stuck up,selfish b*tch. It still baffles me,thatClark could fall for her? |

This a super show that chronicles Clark Kents teenage life!!Set in the fictional town of Smallville, the show charts the growing upof our hero Clark Kent (Tom Welling) during his teenage years as hetries to deal with his alien powers by attempting to lead as normalteenage life as possible; complete with all its typical problems.Lana Lang (Kirsten Kreuk) plays Clarks lonely, independent, ideal womenand friend, Chloe Sullivan (Alison Mack) plays another of Clarksclosest friends, a lady who as a school journalist is fascinated by allthe weird events that have occurred in Smallville.Add into the fold,Lex Luther (Michael Rossenbaum) as a troubled, unlikely close friend toClark and Lionel Luthor (John Glover) as the mean calculating father ofLex Luthor. Martha Kent (Annette O'Toole) and Jonathan Kent (JohnSchneider) play Clarks doting and dependable parents.Tom Welling does an outstanding job playing Clark Kent. He brings ahuman-like quality to the show and the way he looks is exactly how youwould imagine a young Clark Kent to look like. He is a very likablecharacter and Tom also helps to put some of himself in the characterand was basically born for the role. Michael Rossenbaum is the realstar of the show though, because he plays a character that has so manydepths who can be nice and pleasant most of time but has a hiddenmenace at the same time and the fact that he pulls it off is atestament to the quality of the actor.John Glover, Annete O'Toole and John Schneider also do greatperformances in their respective roles. You can actually imagine thesecharacters as the parents of Lex and Clark, as they bring so much totheir roles. Kirsten Kreuk is basically the eye candy of the show and Iwould not say she is the best actress in the show. The big times shehas been asked to perform big scenes she has done a good job overall. The acting on the show is genuinely superb and of a great standard. Thecharacters on the show are written extremely well, and they have somany different dimensions. The scripts are good and generally they tryand reveal things about the characters that the viewer did not realiseand this is a big plus point. The viewer will really warm to the show because the characters are soeasy to identify with. When Clark has the same problems that everyteenager faces, it helps to make the show seem realistic and relevantto the teenagers today. The paramount way that this show works so well,is because the viewer KNOWS Clarks future and this is showing his pastand therefore the viewer never knows what to expect. We are alwaysaware of big things that happen to Clark in the future and the causeand effects of these problems are being explored in the show. The writers of the show are always thinking up new story lines that thecharacters face that tie in with the original Superman comics and thisis great. I love the fact that characters who have been in otherSuperman shows (from Clarks future) are constantly written into theshow, and this means that the viewer knows what that character isabout; as they have seen them and recognise them from before.I have bought the DVD box-sets of this show and I would recommend it toanyone. Every episode is memorable because they all have big moments inthe show that the viewer will remember and think about for ages. Theamount of themes this show covers is huge and the relationships betweenthe characters is very believable. This is one of Warner Bros best TV shows in a long time and anabsolutely brilliant television show. This show works on so manydifferent levels and it will appeal to not just Superman fans but tofans of entertaining and exciting plot-driven TV shows. This showeasily beats the other Superman competition and is an ideal addition toany Superman fans collection. This is essential viewing for Supermanfans.10/10 Go and watch this now!! |
