Not too bad, watchable

I mainly started watching this show as I have been a fan of JensenAckles since he apperared as Ben on the show Dark Angel. I was pleasedto learn he was staring in a show of this genre and looked forward tosee him again on TV.I was disappointed with the show to begin with. Compared to shows likeBuffy the show is dismil. The show lacks the emotional audiencerelationship's that is crucial to a shows long time success.However the show's witty dialogue among other things makes the showenjoyable.As long as you aren't expecting to watch a show like of high quality asBuffy then you may find Supernatural very appealing.

Jensen Ackles & Jared Padalecki

Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki Great Actors! Jensen's jerkpersonality on the show really contributes to the thrill of the show!The show deserved the People's Choice Awards! Really well thought outconcept don't ever end the show! I just began watching the show andliterally haven't been able to put my computer down. I am now on season4 and have been hooked since the pilot.Jared's character and Jensen'sgo hand in hand and work really well together. They are both reallygreat actors and will hopefully eventually win Emmy awards. All of thedifferent characters and concepts to each show make sense and areriveting. This is a must watch show, even if you don't likesupernatural ideas, it will still hook you with the personality's ofthe characters and the way they react with each other.

My opinion of Supernatural

Well I'd have to say this show is one of my favorites. Its plot twistsand good direction/acting make it not only interesting plot wise butalso cinematography wise. As an aspiring director I find it a slightinspiration when it comes to lighting and such. I'd highly recommendit. Plus, the guys in it are really hot... always a bonus. But it keepsme and my friends (who are also die hard fans) at the edge of ourseats. We hope that it'll come back for another season, because thefinale is in a few days.And just so you know it's on at 9 on the WB on Thursday's. Best showever, folks.

Supernatural - One of The Best

By the time i'm writing this review supernatural is already mid-waythrough its 6th season, and i can't express how much i'm missing thisshow right now. I watched one episode of this show from season 4 on myTV network and i was completely unknown about this great show. So istarted downloading this TV sitcom from Season 1 and the rest ishistory.Supernatural is one of the best Horror mixed Action & Comedy TV sitcomsout-there. I haven't missed a single episode of this Sitcom and sinceits beginning.On the Acting corner, Jensen Ackels is perfect for the role of DEAN andJared is Perfect for SAM. The chemistry between them is simply mindblowing with a Special touch of their Hunter friend BOBBY & A RetiredAngel CASTIEL, The shows gets more better.The Dark and grey Cinematography fits perfectly with the Horror genreof the show. There are some moments in the season 1 & 2 which arereally spooky. McG and Robert Singer has done their job well to createa perfect TV Sitcom with a Mixture of Horror, Emotions, Comedy &Action. Supernatural is definitely a Hit with its never ending story ofApocalypse

Missing Colt Bullets ???

So they find a gun that was made by Samuel Colt, he made 13 bullets togo with it. he gives it to a "hunter with a horse" he uses it "half adozen times" this means there should be 7 bullets left.flash forward to father john who is being attacked by "meg" he gets thegun & fills all the chambers (6) he never fires the gun.so 1 bullet missing Next episode dad says only 5 shots left use themcarefully so another bullet missing where did they go ? are seam & deanrotten shots ? love the show, glad its coming back.

Something Wicked This Way Comes

I have been a fan of 'Supernatural' for 5 years now and the series isstill as awesome as it first started. It is about two brothers, SamWinchester and Dean Winchester's journey to find their father in thefirst season. From there it goes through fighting with the 'yellow-eyeddemon' to Dean going to hell in the third season and then my mostfavourite season 4 when Castiel enters. Castiel passes through everydemon shackle spell and drawings in the whole building and comes toDean to say 'I am Castiel, I am an Angel of the Lord'. You wouldn'tbelieve the chills that gave me, the hair on my skin stood up. The 5thseason is about the impending Apocalypse, the battle between good andevil with Earth as their war field. The atmosphere this show has isdownright chilling and it compels the viewer to get hooked.Sam and Dean are contrasting characters. Sam is the younger brother ofDean. He is calm, innocent and good-hearted. But, some situations makehim the bad guy. Dean is the cool one, he kicks back on the couch witha beer in one hand and a hot chick in the other hand and seeminglydoesn't give a damn if the world ends or not. He is the guy who takesthe risks. They con people, do credit card scams and cheat at pool topay for their food and shelter. But despite their differences, thebrothers have an unbreakable bond between them and they will fight tilldeath for the safety of each other. 'Safety' being not going to hellafter they die. This is what makes them so great, their chemistry isthere for everyone to see. Angel Castiel is an excellent addition fromthe 4th season, he made the show so much more awesome than it alreadywas. The characters make you care for them so much that you don't wantto miss a single moment of their journey.Dean is a vessel of archangel Michael and Sam is the vessel of thefallen angel, Lucifer. So, now every demon hunter in the country wantSam dead, before he can accept Lucifer's offer to take over Sam's body.There are also many allies for the brothers as the series continues.This is a very different show from others as it deals with a differentdemon every episode and the main story also continues. You never getbored as the special effects are awesome and even the actors who playthe demons are very good.The show isn't all gloom and doom. In fact, it has many humorousmoments. Also it doesn't hurt when you have two good actors who arealso good-looking. I haven't seen X-files as I was just a kid back whenit ended, so I don't have a yardstick to compare this show to, as manyof the IMDb users here seem to compare to. Therefore, I think this isthe best supernatural show ever that I have seen. The strong point ofthe show is also the visual imagery which is a treat for the viewersand the background score. Also it gives real legend stories everyepisode, like the bloody mary, vampires, zombies, hookman, ghostinsects, scarecrows, evil children, basically every legend and scarystory you have ever heard and not heard. The car, 1970's Chevy Impalais very cool.Buy the DVD's if you still haven't seen the show, as each episode isexciting. There is always something new brought to the table by theexcellent screenwriters. Why are you still reading my comment, go andwatch Supernatural, The Most Thrilling, Awesome and Coolest Show Ever:)10/10

Never expected the storyline to be this AMAZING!

Well to be honest, Supernatural isn't just like any show! Its amazing,creative and a masterpiece! this isn't coming from a geek no its comingfrom a guy who watched all of the shows that are airing now! It startedwith bad effects but it got better and better and i never thought thestoryline would be that tall and amazing.It was just building itself throughout the seasons! i though they endedthe storyline in season 2 but when season 4 came then i understoodeverything. its not that complex but it will make you jump all daybecause of how you want to watch the next episode! Jensen & Jared arefunny and great actors! i hope the show never ends I'm serious! itsvery unique and they limit their effects and stuff! they are not likeBuffy with monsters and flying stuff, no! they just know how it shouldbe done!!

Best Show Ever!

Supernatural is the absolute best show ever! The writers are amazingwith the plot line. Two brothers searching for their father? Just thatalone would catch some peoples eyes. But the fact that they're ghosthunters and looking for the thing that killed their mother is soappealing. And the thing that killed their mother also killed Sam/sgirlfriend and brings him back to their job. Saving people, huntingthings, the family business. And it doesn't hurt that the two maincharacters are totally hot! Jensen Ackles and Jared Padelecki havegreat chemistry. They work so well together. It's too bad that'Supernatural' is up against big shows such as CSI and The O.C. ButSupernatural is holding its own. Hopefully CW(WB and UPN mergedtogether) will put Supernatural back on Tuesdays. I wouldn't have tomiss CSI and it would much better for everyone. But wait! Grey'sAnatomy is going to be in the same time slot as CSI! Oh, crap. Thisposes a problem. Battle of the Best. The two most watched shows ontelevision going head to head? Let's really hope that Supernatural getsmoved back to Tuesdays!

One to watch!

It's a mini horror movie every week. Supernatural brings American urbanlegends into your home each episode. All those stories you told aroundthe campfire as a child come to life in this explosive TV show. Fromthe exceptional writing to the awesome soundtrack, this TV show is astep above the rest. I love seeing the dynamic between the brothers,Sam and Dean. It seems that no matter what has happened in the past,family is family. I imagine this show is a production nightmare. Thereare so many great special effects, it's like being at your localcinema. And you can't forget that car. A '67 Impala that the brotherstravel the country in. With the classic rock tunes blaring on thecassette player and the roar of the engine, this car is hot! Overall, Ithink Supernatural is one of the best shows on TV. My only concern isthem running out of good material. I mean there are only so many urbanlegends. However, I've heard they've got the first 3 seasons prettymuch mapped out, so at least we can have a few good years, right.

Hardy Boys + Kolchak: The Night Stalker + Blade

This is a series that is tailor made for....just about everyone. Forfans of mysteries, thrillers and especially science fiction/horror thisis a series that is well worth taking a look at. Also, since it is onthe WB, it is coated with eye candy for both genders.This is like the Hardy Boys and Kolchak: The Night Stalker rolled intoone, with a little bit of Blade thrown in for good measure.The series follows two brothers, who when they were very young (Sam 6months, Dean about 3 or 4) tragically lost their mother when she waskilled by a supernatural being. Their dad managed to save them and hemade it his life's work from that point on to hunt Supernatural beingsand try to find an explanation for what had happened. He also trainshis sons to do the same thing.The series picks up twenty three years later, with Sam at college andDean still hunting. However, there dad is missing and Dean wants Sam tohelp him look for him.

The fantasy genre show of the decade!

Okay. I have been a fan of Jensen Ackles ever since seeing him in DarkAngel five years ago. Therefore I thought that I would giveSupernatural a go.I expected to like this show but this show has grown on me more than Iever imagined. It is now my favourite show on television. It is theseries of the decade much like The X-Files. It shares a tone similar tothat of earlier X-Files season without plagiarising it (it stands toreason because they share many of the same writers).The story lines in terms of hunting the supernatural are genuinelyscary (more so towards the end of the first season) and the alpha demonof the main story arch is as terrifying as the demon from The Exorcistor Damien Thorn from The Omen.While the mains storyline is serious, the show also has a great senseof humour.What I love most is the characterisation. The family dynamic of theWinchesters is fascinating. Dean Winchester is so charming anddevil-may-care on the surface but so damaged, loving and loyalunderneath.If you watch the episodes 'Salvation' and 'Devil's Trap', you shouldsee that it is a series that is no longer just for teenagers.

Love this Show!

i heard of "Supernatural" a few times but i never actually watched it.i just started watching it a few weeks ago and i must say i was hooked.Jared Padalecki (Sam Wincester) and Jensen Ackles (Dean Winchester) aregreat in this show. It kinda reminded of old school "Charmed" mixedwith the "X-Files". Whats great about that show is that its also inways easy to catch up because there's really only two main charactersits easy to get into. It has non-stop action and mystery and it justgets you hooked. The acting is great and the characters have so muchdepth and history. This is a great show and i hope it lasts a lot moreseasons. i give it a 9/10.

This is the best HORROR show EVER!

Just to start off with this show is one of the best that I have everwatched in my life. The show always leaves you with some kind ofmystery of what will happen next. The best parts are the parts rightbefore the commercial and as soon as you see the major stuff you hear aboom and there is the commerical and as soon as you come back they arein the same spot at the same moment that they left. Now others showsgive you a commercial and then they may be a thousand miles away fromwhere they were. Now back to the scary stuff they always try to makeyou jump when you see the killer or whatever that weeks thing is. Nowthe only problem with Supernatural is that it is only a one hour show.Other than that the whole show is nothing but scares and coolness.

Excting, fresh and scary!

I started watching Supernatural last year, the promo's looked soawesome I just said to myself "You HAVE to see that", and so I did andI haven't missed an episode since then. I remember how I stood by theedge of my seat during the whole Pilot, it was awesome, I've alwaysliked things involving horror and scary stories so this show was likeheaven sent, but don't get it wrong either Supernatural does have thescary factor but it also includes a lot about families and the problemsthat they go through, it has drama and even humor, let's just say ithas a little bit for everyone.Supernatural is an awesome show that I'm sure will have you on the edgeof your seat during an entire hour every week, horror, cute boys, rockand a kick ass car, how not to love it?

I think the show is great

I didn't know what the show was about entirely but it interested me soI decided to watch it. I absolutely loved it. I though that it wascreative and original. I also thought that the cast chosen to playthese unique roles were the perfect picks. I wanted everyone to knowabout the show because I loved it so much so I put it on my myspacepage. I made sure to include time, channel, and the day it appears on.I hardly ever watch TV but that show really makes me want to wait allday by the remote until it comes on. Please bring it back for futureseasons. I hope that you guys get a lot of ratings so you have a reasonto bring it back. I tell everyone about the show because I like it somuch. I have already gotten all of my friends hooked. I also told mybrother in Florida to watch the show and tell his friends to watch ittoo.

Thank god for they're not teenagers

Much as I liked Buffy, and Angel, and Smallville, and XFiles, I likeSupernatural for a few simple reasons, specifically because I'vewatched the other shows. The main characters aren't in high school forone thing. Most of the characteristics I like can be drawn back to thatone fairly easily.The fact they're 22 & 26, and male, means that these characters canswear. They can get laid. Not every girl they see has "first kiss"lovey-dovey built in. They can go to jail without their parents beingcalled. They don't have deadlines in assignments to meet. They candrive. They can drink. And they can get hurt without hiding the factfrom all their friends.Halleluja! If I wanted to see more of the same, there's 7 seasons ofBuffy, 5 of Angel, 5 of Smallville, and dozens of other examples Icould go to. This is new, with the action I'd expect, without theXFile's restrictive regulations imposed on the characters due to theirjobs. (Which I also like - but who doesn't?) Throw caution to the wind!I like that it's two brothers driving around, not girls beinginsightful or oh-so-smart or chick-flicky or even empoweredBuffy-style. I like action films, and thrillers, and sci-fi, andhorror, and comedy, and this show's got a little bit of everything.Don't expect high art here, it's just a bit of good fun, entertaining.And I dunno about you, but I'm watching these shows to be entertained,not find out the meaning of life, the universe, and everything. (42 bythe way ;] ) I'd suggest you sit back, watch a few episodes, and see ifyou agree. If not, don't watch anymore :P

best show on TV

OK as i always say don't listen to the critics they never like anythinganyway always watch yourself and make up your own mind.I have beenwatching this show since it started 7 years ago and each series isbetter than the next,the characters/the plots/the running story's aresuperb the mix of horror and fantasy will keep you on the edge of yourseat and waiting for the next episode.For anyone who likes this kind ofthing this is not to be missed.there are many TV series on TV that aresimilar to this show but have not hit the mark like supernatural has ithas been running for 7 seasons and has potential for many more.So ifyou like fantasy,horror,a bit of humour then this show should not bemissed.

supernatural getting bad to worse.

I think supernatural is getting bad to worse. it started out OK, quiteinteresting, and I think it's funny. season 3 is the climax as it isreally funny with hot ruby and scary Lilith. now, ever since season 4,this show sucks. Firstly, they made ruby an evil bitch. why can't therebe a good demon? if angels are bad, then demons could be good.Secondly, angels are portrayed as weak, evil bastards who torturepeople. And since when do they lose to devils, and need to get avessel? they are supposed to be all powerful, and can just materializein whatever they like. according to the bible, I recall that someangels masquerade as men to warn lot to get out of Gomorrah orsomething. and all angels are supposed to have seen God at least a fewtimes a year. Come on, Seraphs or Powers are supposed to sing God'spraises around his throne 24/7, surely God will be sitting there?? Youcan check this out in wiki. thirdly, why is dean saved? he is NOT agood guy. he always sleep with women, fight, curse etc. definitely notan angel. even Sam is a better choice. fourthly, humans cannot BECOMEdemons, just like they can't BECOME angels. They are just humans.Demons are FALLEN ANGELS, so Lucifer is already not an angel. Sure,some demonic offspring, like giants, can be demon, I guess. Checked itin wikipedia. And I guessed that Antichrist, he is powerful, but notenough to turn castiel into a toy. fifthly, why is dean such a dick?just accept to be Michael's vessel! assuming I believe SPN's "lore", heshould do it for the greater good. Did he think he could take onLucifer alone? Dream on! can SPN stop that angels and demons crap? Isigned on to watch horror, ghosts, and zombies, not God and theology.The only good stuff is Dean's looks, hot chicks, cool special effects,and (occasionally) funny moments.

Myths, Fantasy, Lore, Legends, Brotherly Love, Scares, Midwest = My favorite show!

Supernatural can be watched from a multitude of perspectives, but Ilike to boil it down to two things: 1. Horror, thrills, action, it'soften been characterized as a mini-horror movie per episode. 2.Family-drama & brotherly love.It's in some ways a male-version of Joss Whedon's "Buffy the VampireSlayer", except not wholly. Because this show goes beyond one town. Ittravels the whole of the United States, and seems to focus on theMidwest. Which I think is awesome! Not simply because I live inChicago, but because so many TV-shows seem to forget about all thatcountry that lies between the West and East coasts!I can't properly express why I love this show so much. Maybe because itcovers a that spectrum from horror, to drama, to comedy? Maybe becauseI do love the whole myths, lore, fantasy, etc stuff?! Perhaps it's theamazing chemistry between the brothers and actors Dean (Jensen Ackles)and Sam (Jared Padalecki)? This show is simply fantastic, the best, awesome, and I really hope theCW feels the fans' love - because it would be a tragedy if this showwas forced to halt before Eric Kripke (the creator) intends it to!

This show just gets stronger and stronger.

You'd think the writers would be running out of ideas after 5 seasonsof coming up with things that go bump in the night, but Supernaturaljust gets more and more compelling.The Two J's get better all the time and have matured into their partswonderfully. The story lines are still as fresh, surprising andunpredictable as ever. (The episode 'Changing Channels' was one of thefunniest, hippest shows I've seen anywhere). This is a show that ishappy to step outside the box and it pays off.The policy of supporting players coming and going is smart and reallyworks for this show by introducing fresh personalities and cutting outthe stale players (and story lines). Getting rid of the tiresome Rubywhen she had (more than) worn out her welcome was a huge boost for theshow, as was the addition of the enigmatic and charismatic Castiel.Misha Collins is a master of dead-pan and has wonderful on-screenchemistry with all the other cast members. I hope he's a keeper -Finding someone like that is a rarity.If I have one qualm it would be that the guys get a bit carried awaywith using gruff, manly-men, Dark Knight voices when having manly-menconversations. It leaves me looking for throat lozenges by the end ofan episode. But that's only a minor quibble.Kudos to Kripke and Co for bringing some good, creepy fun to TV andkeeping it fresh for so long.Long may you reign!
